The State of Florida FL Boiler Section (a division of State Fire Marshal) oversees all boilers and pressure vessels in the State of Florida. The Florida Boiler Inspection Program enforces standards governing the installation, operation and closure of boilers. Inspections are performed by Florida Boiler Section inspectors and by special (insurance company) inspectors commissioned by Florida to perform these boiler inspections.
